We did it!

There's been this date on the calendar that we've been aiming for all summer. Lainey and I have prayed for Daddy to be ready to play ball by the time the Bisons were going to be in Louisville, because what could be better than baseball, daddy AND your home state?

Not much, I tell you.

God is totally in the details, people (as my *friend* Beth Moore recently pointed out), because Andy was ready to roll ONE day before the team left for the bluegrass state. Woo-hoo and yippee, we got to see our daddy!
Now, this was to be the maiden voyage for mommy with all three girls (and the dog) by myself. I really wasn't stressed about it, the drive to Lvill is not bad at all - until some facebook friends questioned how I was going to go to the bathroom. This was a quandry - then I remembered that I was packing the little pink potty for Lainey, surely that would do in case of emergency? I know, too much information, let's move on.
Needless to say after packing 2 strollers, 2 pack-n-plays, 1 air mattress, 1 breastpump, 2 bouncy seats, (this is where you sing "and a partridge in a pear tree") and enough clothes for 4 gals, I nearly forgot the children. Just kidding. Kinda.

We spent 4 days in Lville and then went on to Indianapple (LaineyTalk) for the next series. This is where I thought we may get sent home early by the Boss, for lack of cooperation from the Littles. I totally underestimated them, and Andy and the value of a Sheraton suite. We just rolled those little hotel cribs into the other room when it was time for bed, and they were none the wiser.

All my girls were fantastic travelers, even when we stayed up late for ball games and daddy time. Lainey, as it turns out is a huge baseball fan, if by baseball you mean warm peanuts, hotdogs, dip-n-dots and burrito bowls - oh, and of course really great dancin' music. AnnaGrace and Emily loved being outside and really enjoyed being loved and squeezed by friends and family that may their way to the ball park to root Andy on. It was so good to see him back in the game, after such a weird summer!

Now that we are home, we're trying to get back into schedule with naps and all that jazz. Thanks to my procrastination skills, I won't even have to pack for the next roadtrip, I'll just pick up the suit cases that are scattered about, call it done and head to Columbus!
